     Carolyn Anna Sahr was born on 5 August 1925 at Sheraden, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Louis Leo Sahr and Elizabeth Eleanor Pschirer. Carolyn Anna Sahr went by the nick-name of Sue. Sue, age 4, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 2620 Glasgow Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Louis Leo and Elizabeth Eleanor Sahr.5 Sue, age 14, appeared on the US Census of 1940 living at 2620 Glasgow Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Louis Leo and Elizabeth Eleanor Sahr.6 Carolyn Anna Sahr and Paul Vincent Scully Jr. obtained a marriage license on 26 April 1946 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.7

Sue Sahr married Paul Vincent Scully Jr., son of Paul Vincent Scully and Agnes M. O'Neil, after 26 April 1946.1,7,8,9 As of after 26 April 1946,her married name was Scully. Sue, age 24 years, and Paul Scully, age 26 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 at 37 Steuben Street, basement apartment, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.10 Sue Sahr died on 16 January 2000 at Gibsonia, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 74.2,11,3,4 Sue's obituary of 17 January 2000, reads:

Age 74, on Sun., Jan. 16, 2000, of Sheraden; wife of the late Paul V. Scully, J r; mother of Colleen Scholar, Suzanne Roy, Tim, Deanna Smith, Peter, Dennis and the late Regis Scully; sister of Mary Klingensmith, William Sahr, Ann Scully and Nancy Liszka; also twelve grandchildren. Friends received Mon. and Tues. 2-4 and 7-9 pm at WM. F. CONROY FUNERAL HOME, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Funeral Mass in Holy Innocents Church, Wed. 10:00 am. Mrs. Scully was a riveter for Dravo Corp. during WWII. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forbes Hospice, 6655 Frankstown Ave., Pgh., PA 15206.
