Jabez Dam was born on 24 August 1732 at Newington, Colony of New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Richard Dam and Elizabeth Leighton.1 Jabez Dam was christened on 25 September 1733 in the Newington, Colony of New Hampshire.1
Jabez Dam, age 29, married Meribah Emery, age 21 , daughter of Simon Emery and Martha Lord, on 10 December 1761 at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, Colony of New Hampshire.
Jabez wrote his will on 21 May 1811.1 He died on 14 November 1813 at Rochester, New Hampshire, at age 81.1
