     Joseph Daniel Scully was born on 27 February 1901 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Paul Scully and Nancy Veronica Scobie. Joseph Daniel Scully went by the nick-name of Joe. Joseph, age 9, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at 1524 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Paul and Anna Scully.6 Joseph, age 18, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 2407 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Paul and Anna Scully.7 Joe was a plumber supply clerk in 1920.7 Joseph, age 29, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 2407 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Paul and Anna Scully.8 According to the Federal Census in 1930, Joseph was a salesman in a supply house.9 Joe, age 39, appeared on the US Census of 1940 living at 2407 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Paul and Anna Scully.10 According to the Federal Census in 1940, Joseph was a clerk.10 Joseph registered for the draft giving his age aas 40 and his employer as Bailey-Farrell Company. on 16 February 1942 at 2407 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.5 Joseph, age 47, appeared on the US Census of 1950 living at 2407 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his mother, Anna Scobie; She was listed as a widow.11 According to the Federal Census in 1950, Joseph was an office clerk at a wholesale planter supply company.11 He died on 29 October 1983 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 82. He died unmarried.2,3,4,12 Joseph's obituary of 31 October 1983, reads:
