     Alvin W. Woodman was born on 10 February 1840 at Auburn, Maine.1 He was the son of Deacon Greenleaf H. Woodman and Dorothy E Dunham. Alvin W. Woodmanappeared on the US Census of 1850 in the household of Deacon Greenleaf H. Woodman and Dorothy E Dunham at Auburn, Maine.2

Alvin W. Woodman, age 27, married Elizabeth Mary Lowell, age 27 , daughter of James Lowell Jr. and Jane G. Baker, on 5 December 1867 at the Lewiston, Maine.

Alvin W. Woodman married Phebe Adelaid Briggs, daughter of Susan ______, in 1874.

Alvin was buried at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton, Massachusetts.
