Pierre Joseph Guay

     Pierre Joseph Guay was born on 18 December 1864 at Beaumont, Québec, Canada.^2,3 He was christened on 19 December 1864 in the Église St-Étienne, Beaumont, Québec, Canada.⁴ He was the son of Florent Huber Guay and Marie Anne Verret.¹ Pierre, age 16, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1881 at Beaumont, Québec, Canada, in the household of his parents, Florent Huber and Guay.⁵

Pierre Joseph Guay married Marie Eugenia Ezilde Roy, daughter of Joseph Roy and Marie-Adelaide Gagnon.



Pierre, age 26, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1891 at Beaumont, Québec, Canada, in the household of his parents, Florent Huber and Marie Anne Guay.⁸ Pierre, age 36 years, and Marie Guay, age 30 years appeared on the Canadian Census of 1901 at Beaumont, Québec, Canada, living with Joseph's parents.³ According to the Canadian Census in 1901, Pierre was a farmer.³ Pierre, age 46 years, and Marie Guay, age 40 years appeared on the Canadian Census of 1911 at Beaumont, Québec, Canada.⁶ Pierre, age 56 years, and Marie Guay, age 50 years appeared on the Canadian Census of 1921 at Beaumont, Québec, Canada.⁷ Pierre, age 66 years, and Marie Guay, age 60 years appeared on the Canadian Census of 1931 at Beaumont, Québec, Canada.⁹ He died on 2 November 1937 at Québec City, Québec, Canada, at age 72.²
