     Margaret Barstow was christened on 24 February 1649/50. She was the daughter of George Barstow and Susan Marrett.

Margaret Barstow, age 20, married Simon Gates, age 24 , son of Stephen Gates and Ann Neave, in November 1670. As of November 1670,her married name was Gates. Margaret Barstow died on 13 April 1707 at age 57.
