Job Wood was born on 13 July 1772 at Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).1 He was the son of Daniel Wood and Mary Plummer.1
Job Wood, age 21, married Jane Lord, age 18 , daughter of Elder Ebenezer Lord and Jane Hight, on 18 July 1793 at the Berwick, Massachusetts (Maine).
Job and Jane were divorced. Boyle notes that Job was "a neer-do-well" who died poor. His children were placed with the town.1 Job was mentioned in the will of his father, Daniel Wood on 29 March 1811 at Shapleigh, Massachusetts (Maine), reciving $50.1 Job Wood died on 29 January 1859 at Acton, York County, Maine, at age 86.1
