     Joseph Stewart was born on 28 November 1706 at Wells, York County, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).1 He was the son of Samuel Stewart and Dorcas Baston.1 Joseph Stewart and Mary Lord filed marriage intentions on 29 November 1729 at Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).1

Joseph Stewart married Mary Lord, daughter of Captain Samuel Lord and Martha Wentworth, in 1729.
