Captain Abraham Lord was born on 29 October 1699 at Kittery, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).1 He was the son of Deacon Nathan Lord and Martha Tozier.1
Captain Abraham Lord, age 18, married Margaret Gowen, daughter of Nicolas Gowen and Abigail Hodsdon, on 10 April 1718 at the Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).
On 6 January 1718/19, Margaret and Abraham appeared in court to answer their presentment for fornication.1 Abraham and Margaret owned covenant at First Church of Berwick, Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine), on 11 October 1719. The same day Margaret was baptized along with their son, Simon.1 Captain Abraham Lord was mentioned in the will of Deacon Nathan Lord on 6 July 1733 at Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine). He recieved all the land "on the North side of the Highway where he now lives."1 He commanded the Blue Troop of Horse, First York County Pregiment, Sir William Pepperell, colonel.1 Abraham wrote his will on 11 April 1772 at Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).1 Abraham was buried on 8 April 1779.1
