Gabriel Hambleton was the son of David Hambleton and Anna Jackson.1 Gabriel Hambleton's surname was also known as Hamilton.1
Gabriel married first circa 1705, Mary Hearle, the daughter of William and Patience (Etherington) Hearle.1
Gabriel Hambleton married Judith Lord, age 34 , daughter of Deacon Nathan Lord and Martha Tozier, on 24 May 1721 at the Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).
On 3 November 1721, slightly more than five months after his marraige to Judith, he was "suspended from the Com[muion] of the Ch[urc]h for fornication. And was according to the ordr or vote of the Ch[urch]h publickly suspended and admonished for the same.1 On 2 January 1721/22, Gabriel Hambleton "came into Court and Acknowledg'd that he had Comitt'd Fornicaton," and was to recieve seven stripes and pay fees to the court or pay a fine of 30 shillings.1 He died circa 24 January 1729/30 at New London, Connecticut Colony, probably while visiting his brother, Jonas.1
