     Samuel Treadwell was born on 7 December 1642 at Ipswich, Massachusetts Bay Colony.1,2 He was the son of Edward Treadwell and Sarah Howes.

Samuel Treadwell married Ruth Wheeler, daughter of Ephrem Wheeler and Sarah Anne Turney, in 1667.

Samuel Treadwell was admitted as a freeman in 1670 at Fairfield, Connecticut Colony.4 On 23 April 1698 Samuel lived at Bridgeport, Connecticut Colony.5 He died on 28 February 1717 at Bridgeport, Connecticut Colony, at age 74.2 Samuel was buried at Old Stratfield Cemetery, Bridgeport, Connecticut.2
