     Augustin LeRoy dit Audy was christened on 18 December 1671 in the Basilique-cathédrale Notre-Dame de Québec, Québec City, Québec, New France.1,2,3,4 He was born on 18 December 1671 at Charlesbourg, Québec, New France.1,5 He was the son of Siméon LeRoy dit Audy and Claude Des Chalets.1 Augustin moved to Côte Saint-François, Montréal, Québec, New France, with his parents, Siméon and Claude LeRoy in 1679.4 Augustin immigrated with his family in 1682 to Albany; with their entire living family, execpting their son Jean, without the permission of the Province of New York.5,2,4 On 28 November 1682, Augustin's family was at the home of Adam Winne of Albany, New York. He was apprenticed as a shoemaker to Adam Winne. After this he disappears from the records.5 Augustin moved to Kingston, Province of New York, with his parents, Siméon and Claude LeRoy after 1686.5,4
