     Mercy Whelpley was born in 1728 at Greenwich, Connecticut Colony.1 She was the daughter of Jonathan Whelpley and Martha Pennoyer.1 Mercy Whelpley was also known as Mary. She died on 20 April 1820 at Stamford, Connecticut.1
