     Sarah Hoyt was born on 30 December 1777.1 She was the daughter of Captain Micha Hoyt and Miriam Currier.1 As of 13 September 1796,her married name was Tuxbury.1

Sarah Hoyt, age 18, married Joseph Tuxbury, age 25 , son of Thomas Tuxbury and Mary Currier, on 13 September 1796 at the South Hampton, New Hampshire.
