     Eleanor G. Thompson was born in 1820 at Bristol, Maine.2 She was the daughter of Benjamin B. Thompson and Mary ______.1 Eleanor G. Thompsonappeared on the US Census of 1850 in the household of Benjamin B. Thompson and Mary ______ at Bristol, Maine.3 As of 17 May 1853,her married name was Sherwin.

Eleanor G. Thompson married William Sherwin, age 65 , son of Deacon Nathaniel Sherwin and Mary Bement, on 17 May 1853 at the Boston, Massachusetts.1,4 Eleanor G. Thompson died on 16 May 1858.2 Eleanor was buried at Arms Cemetery, Shelburne, Massachusetts, in section L3.2
