     Stella E. Brindle was born on 4 January 1898 at Manor, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 She was the daughter of John George Brindle and Ethel McMichael. Stella, age 2, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at 204 Rose Street, Manor, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, John George and Ethel Brindle.1 Stella, age 12, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at Cleveland Ave, Manor, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, John George and Ethel Brindle.4 Stella, age 22, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 123 South Ninth Street, Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, John George and Ethel Brindle.5 Stella E. Brindle died on 4 May 1926 at Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, at age 28 from peritonitis, plastic, caused by perforation of abdominal cavity from vagina probably in attempt to cause an abortion.6,7,2,3 Stella's obituary of 6 May 1926, reads:

MISS STELLA BRINDLE
Miss Stella Brindle, 28 years old, daughter of John G., and Ethel McMichael Brindle, 123 South Ninth street, West Side, died at 3 o'clock this morning at Uniontown hospital. She had been ill at her home and was removed to the countyseat institution yesterday afternoon. In addition to her parents, she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Charles of Latrobe, Richard of Blairsville, Mrs. Cora St Clair of Springdale, George, Howard, Samuel, Robert, and Helen, all home

Stella was buried on 6 May 1926 at Saint Johns Union Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.2,3
