     Paul Vincent Scully was born on 11 August 1894 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 He was the son of Paul Scully and Nancy Veronica Scobie. Paul Vincent Scully went by the nick-name of Pete. Paul, age 5, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at 1122 Rives Avenue, Esplen, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Paul and Anna Scully.1 Paul, age 15, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at 1524 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Paul and Anna Scully.9 Paul was an office boy in 1910.9

Paul Vincent Scully married Agnes M. O'Neil, age 17 , daughter of Andrew O'Neil and Mary Ann Reardon, in August 1916 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.2,4,5 On 5 June 1917, Pete registered for the World War I draft, while living at 141 Marina Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, giving his age as 22 and his occupation as a steamfitter for the Pittsburgh Valve Company.7 Circa 1920 Pete lived at Sheraden, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.2 Paul, age 25 years, and Agnes Scully, age 21 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 2525 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.10 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Paul was a steam fitter.10 Pete, age 35 years, and Agnes Scully, age 31 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 2525 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.11 According to the Federal Census in 1930, Paul was a building construction laborer.11 Pete, age 45 years, and Agnes Scully, age 41 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at 2319 Glen Mawr Avenu, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.12 According to the Federal Census in 1940, Pete was a steam fitter.12 On in 1942, Pete registered for the World War II draft, while living at 2319 Glen Mawr Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, giving his age as 48, and his employer as Almiral-Lucas.8 Paul, age 55 years, and Agnes Scully, age 51 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 at 3022 Sacramento Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.13 According to the Federal Census in 1950, Paul was a machine fitter.13 In 1963, the year Pete died, he lived at 3022 Sacremento Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.3 He died on 30 April 1963 at Ohio Valley Hospital, Kennedy Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 68.2,14,3,4,5,6 Paul's obituary of 3 May 1963, reads:
