     Mary Elkin was born in 1754 at Hawke (now Danville), Colony of New Hampshire.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Elkin and Lydia Evans ______. As of 27 August 1772,her married name was Woodman.1

Mary Elkin married Jonathan Woodman, age 26 , son of Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer, on 27 August 1772 at Hawke (now Danville), Colony of New Hampshire.
