     Jonathan Woodman was born on 25 July 1746 at Kingston, Colony of New Hampshire.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 He was the son of Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer. Jonathan Woodman was christened on 27 July 1746 at the First Church of Kingston, Kingston, Colony of New Hampshire, by the Rev. Joseph Secomb.10

Jonathan Woodman, age 26, married Mary Elkin, daughter of Samuel Elkin and Lydia Evans ______, on 27 August 1772 at Hawke (now Danville), Colony of New Hampshire.

Jonathan was mentioned in the will of his father, Joshua Woodman on 27 January 1789 at Kingston, New Hampshire.14,4 Jonathan and Abigailmoved to Fayette, Maine, in February 1826.2,4 Jonathan Woodman died on 9 April 1827 at Fayette, Maine, at age 80.2,4,15 Jonathan was buried at Fayette Corner Cemetery, Fayette, Maine.15
