     Madelyn A Quinn was born on 7 February 1888 at Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Michael J. Quinn and CatherineA. Boyle. Madelyn, age 12, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at 911 Halket Street, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, John Albert and CatherineA. Loew.1 Madelyn A Quinn and Andrew Carnegie Baldridge obtained a marriage license on 3 October 1906 at Mahoning County, Ohio.3 As of 3 October 1906,her married name was Baldridge.

Madelyn A Quinn, age 18, married Andrew Carnegie Baldridge, age 21 , son of John Baldridge and Lida Corey, on 3 October 1906 at Mahoning County, Ohio.3 Madelyn, age 22, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at 735 Barker Avenue, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, John Albert and CatherineA. Loew. She was a widow.4 As of 21 May 1915,her married name was Mitchell.

Madelyn A Quinn, age 27, married John Nixon Mitchell, age 21 , son of William P. Mitchell and Florence Jane Davis, on 21 May 1915 at Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Madelyn and an unknown person wedding announcement of 1 October 1915, reads:

Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Madeline Quinn, of Pittsburgh, and John Mitchell, of Ligonier: The ceremony was performed by the Rev. N. H. Sanner, of Wilkinsburg, on the 21st of last May. Mr.Mitchell is employed in Braddock.

Madelyn, age 31 years, and John, age 26 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on 306 Howard Street, East Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.7 Madelyn, age 29, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 725 Parker Avenue, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, John Albert and Loew.7 Madelyn, age 41 years, and John, age 36 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 on 116 West Swissvale Street, Edgewood, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.8 Madelyn, age 51 years, and John, age 46 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 on 200 Elne Street, Edgewood, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.9 Madelyn, age 61 years, and John Mitchell, age 56 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 at 601 Jones Avenue, North Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.10 Madelyn A Quinn died on 31 March 1967 at Wightman Manor Nurising Home, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 79 from cancer of the mouth.5,2,11 Madelyn was buried on 3 April 1967 at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in section 1.5,2,11 Madelyn's obituary of 6 April 1967, reads:

MADELYN QUINN MITCHELL

Madelyn Quinn Mitchell, 601 Jones Ave., North Braddock, Pa. died Friday, She was a former resident of Ligonier.

Surviving are her husband John N. Mitchell; these children; Mrs. Kathleen Armilo of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Geraldine Reiler of Palmyra, Mo., Mrs. Betsy Ann Schmidt of Des Moines. Iowa, John L. of McLean, Va., Michael J. of Peoria, Ill. and Robert Q. of Pekin, Ill., grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

High Mass of Requiem was held in St. Joseph's Church, Braddock, on Monday.
