| Text | On Monday evening, the 13th. Marvell Burnett and Miss Annie Rich, both of this village, were united in marriage by Rev. Father Daignault, at his residence, and left shortly after for Boston. They returned to St. Albans yesterday, and in the evening wedding supper was served at the residence of the groom's parents, the rooms being decorated and a large company of friends present. The wedding gifts were numerous and valuable--among them a parlor from the groom's parents, a silver tea set from other friends, a Grecian clock from the Willard Mf'g Co., by whom the groom has been employed four years as head cutter. Capt. F. L. Greene of the Sons of Veterans made the presentation speech, and after a substantial supper the company repaired to the home of the bride's parents, where other gifts were inspected and dancing was indulged in. | |
