  In the Spring of 1721, Thomas, in partnership with William Welde and Samuel Davis, purchased the Beron land in Oxford, Massachusetts of du Tuffeau. This was the land settled by the Huguenots in 1687 and held until that time. Later William Welde sold his share to his partners. Thomas' son, John, settled on this land.
