It is believed that they left their daughter Margaret in the care of relatives (probably her Grand Parents John and Margaret Reardon). We do not know exactly when Patrick and Elizabeth left Wales, or where they arrived, but they made their way immediately to Cleveland, Ohio where they lived and worked alongside other Irish immigrants on Cleveland’s near East Side.
