Ebenezer Stone Esq, the son of Deacon Simon and Mary (Whipple) Stone. He was born on 27 February 1662/63 in Watertown, Massachusetts. Ebenezer settled in Cambridge Villiage, now Newton, Mass. He was admitted a freeman 26 March 1690. In Newton he was a leading citizen in town affairs. He was a selectman for ten years and was a representitive to the General Court 1720-1724 and 1728-1729. After Margaret's death, on 12 June 1711 Ebenezer, at age 48, married (2) Abigail Wilson, in Newton, Massachusetts. After Abigail's death, on 8 April 1722 Ebenezer, at age 59, married (3) Sarah Nevinson, at age 49, daughter of John and Elizabeth Nevinson, in Newton, Massachusetts. Ebenezer was a member of Governor Jonathan Belcher's Council 1730-1733. He died on Friday 4 October 1754 in Newton, Massachusetts or he died on Thursday 4 March 1784 in Newton, Massachusetts. His estate was valued at £3,502 7/8.
