  John Rugg. On 4 November 1654 John, married first Martha Prescott, Hannah's sister, at age 22, daughter of John Prescott and Mary Platts, in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts. John was first in Lancaster in 1654 as evidenced by his signature on the town orders and he became a freeman in 1669. He died about 1696 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts.
