The marriage of Miss Lorraine Catherine Carey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard P. Carey, Overbrook, Philadelphia, to Gerald A. Gallagher, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Gallagher, Drexel Hill, formerly of Scranton, will be solemnized today at 10 a. m. in the Church of Our The Lady of Lourdes Overbrook. Rev. Francis J. Carberry will perform the ceremony.
The bride will be escorted by her father she will wear a white satin gown, princess style, with a pearl beaded front panel and finger tip tulle veil. She will carry a spray of white lilies.
Mrs. William J. Kane, Drexel Hill, sister of the bride-groom will be matron of honor and Miss Jeanne Louise Carey, Overbrook, sister of the bride, will be maid of honor. They will wear blue satin gowns and will carry matching muffs trimmed with sprays of orchids.
The bridesmaids will be Miss Horne, Miss Marie Lyons, cousin of the bride and Miss Anna Rose Welty, all of Philadelphia; Miss Helen Boylan, Bywood, Pa., and Miss Marie Barnes, Drexel Hill. They will wear duty pink colored satin gowns and will carry. matching muffs trimmed with sprays of orchids.
Robert F. Shelare; New York, will be best man. The ushers will be Joseph A. Gallagher and Paul A. Gallagher, both Drexel ¡ Hill, brother of the bride-Bernard P. Carey Jr., and Arthur B. Carey, both of Overbrook, brothers of the bride; Edmund J. Sullivan, Lansdowne, brother-in-law of the bride groom, and Charles A. Walter, Philadelphia,
Mrs. Carey has chosen a deep wisteria colored gown trimmed with crystal beads and a matching feathered hat. Her corsage will be orchids.
Mrs. Gallagher will wear a coral crepe gown with black" accessories. Her corsage will be of orchids.
A reception will follow at the Barclay.
After their wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher will reside in Bristol, Pa.
Mr. Gallagher's father is vice-president and a director of the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company.
