  MRS. VERA DRILLEN NORTHAMPTON, Mass.-Mrs. Vera (Lord) Drillen, 85, of 117 Hayden Street, Orange, widow of Ernest F. Drillen, died Wednesday at a Northampton hospital following a long illness. Born at Hermon, Maine, April 27, 1882, she was the daughter of Herbert and Sarah (Mayhew) Lord. She had been a resident of Northampton for several years before moving to Orange. She was a member Of the Episcopal Church at Athol and the Grange at Orange. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George Brown of Northampton, Mrs. Saville Crabtree of Easthampton, Mrs. Charles Wood of Staten Island, N. Y.; two sons, Norman Burnett of Albuquerque, N. M., Raymond Burnett of Fort Ogden, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Pierce and Mrs. Hazel Storming, both of Hudson, Maine, Mrs. Gladys Ryder of East Corinth, Maine; three brothers, Charles and Lee Alexander, both of Hudson, Maine, Decatur Alexander of Bangor, Maine; 29 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Newell-Northampton Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Henry Ramsey, assistant rector of St. Johns Episcopal Church, officiating.
