Johann Marx Brindle was born on 18 February 1712 at Haßloch, Bad Durkheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.1,2 He was the son of Johan Balthasar Brindle and Anna Catharina Müller. Johann Marx Brindle was christened on 21 February 1712 at Haßloch, Bad Durkheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.2
Johann Marx Brindle, age 22, married Anna Elisabetha Wolff, age 20 , daughter of Hans Philip Wolff and Anna Elizabeth Benner, on 25 May 1734 at Böhl-Iggelheim, Ludwigshafen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.1 Johann Marx Brindle and Anna Elisabetha Wolff immigrated in 1749 to America.3,4 Johann Marx Brindle traveled to Germany in 1759 to claim a family inheritance.3 He died in 1762 at at sea while returning to America.3
