Jonathan Whelpley was born in 1727 at Greenwich, Connecticut Colony.1,2 He was the son of Jonathan Whelpley and Martha Pennoyer.1
Jonathan Whelpley married Mary Darling.
On 4 January 1778, he was listed on the roll of the Connecticut Continental Regiment.4 Jonathan Whelpley died on 17 December 1784 at Greenwich, Connecticut.1
