Benjamin Woodman was born on 18 October 1759 at Kingston, Colony of New Hampshire.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
He was the son of Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer. 4 March 1777, he was mustered in Captain Richard Weares' Company, Col. Scammell's Regiment, raised by New Hampshire, for which he received a 20 state bounty.10,11
Benjamin Woodman, age 22, married Sarah Magoon, age 21 , daughter of Benjamin Magoon and Sarah Moulton, on 25 June 1782 at East Kingston, New Hampshire.
Benjamin was mentioned in the will of his father, Joshua Woodman on 27 January 1789 at Kingston, New Hampshire.12,4
Benjamin, age 40 years, appeared on the US Census of 1800 at Kittery, Massachusetts (Maine).13 Benjamin and Sarahmoved to Irasburg, Vermont, circa 1808.4 Benjamin and Sarahmoved to East Hatley, Stanstead County, Lower Canada, British North America, in 1827.2 Benjamin was buried at Old North Church Cemetery, Hatley, Québec, Canada.7 He died on 6 October 1835 at East Hatley, Stanstead County, Lower Canada, British North America, at age 75.2,3,4,7
