     Sarah Woodman was born on 28 June 1752 at Kingston, Colony of New Hampshire.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 She was christened on 28 June 1752 at the First Church of Kingston, Kingston, Colony of New Hampshire, by the Rev. Joseph Secomb.9 She was the daughter of Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer. As of 14 October 1783,her married name was Emmons.

Sarah Woodman, age 31, married John Emmons, age 42 , son of Samuell Emmons and Mariah Norton, on 14 October 1783 at Amesbury, Massachusetts.

After 14 October 1783 Sarah and John lived at New Chester (now Hill), New Hampshire.2 Sarah was mentioned in the will of her father, Joshua Woodman on 27 January 1789 at Kingston, New Hampshire.14,4 Sarah Woodman died on 24 March 1837 at Hill, New Hampshire, at age 84.2,15 Sarah was buried at Murray Hill Cemetery, Hill, New Hampshire.15
