     Judith French was born on 19 April 1753 at South Hampton, Colony of New Hampshire.1,2,3,4,5,6,7 She was the daughter of Daniel French and Sarah Gould. As of 3 September 1776,her married name was Woodman.

Judith French, age 23, married Lt. Samuel Woodman, age 31 , son of Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer, on 3 September 1776 at South Hampton, New Hampshire.

After 3 September 1776 Judith and Samuel lived at Kingston, New Hampshire, on the old Woodman homestead.1 Judith French died on 28 September 1846 at Kingston, New Hampshire, at age 93.8,9,3,4,7 She was buried at Plains Cemetery, Kingston, New Hampshire. Judith's epitaph reads:

Æt 93

Blessed are the dead that are in the Lord.8,3,4

Marriage Date: Woodman (1995) gives the marriage date as 30 September 1776.3

Death: Her gravestone gives her death on the 28th, while the "official" transcription of her death record gives a death date of the 30th of September. I am using the 30th, though a case can be made for the 28th.
