     Mary Woodman was born on 1 May 1775 at New Gloucester, Maine.1,2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of David Woodman and Mary Hackett.1 Mary Woodman went by the nick-name of Molly. She and Joshua Smith Esq. filed marriage intentions on 6 October 1792 at New Gloucester, Massachusetts (Maine).6 As of 1793,her married name was Smith.1

Mary Woodman married Joshua Smith Esq., son of Josiah Smith and Esther Pool, in 1793 at New Gloucester, Massachusetts (Maine).
