     Betsey Gross was born in 1773 at Leeds, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).1,2,3 She and David Woodman filed marriage intentions on 20 September 1799 at New Gloucester, Massachusetts (Maine).4 As of 14 October 1799,her married name was Woodman.1

Betsey Gross married David Woodman, age 27 , son of David Woodman and Mary Hackett, on 14 October 1799.

Name: She seems to have used Betsey her whole life, but her death record lists he as Elizabeth. I belive her real name was Betsey, but the town clerk, "corrected it".
